Overall this game tries to sell you a completely reworked Borderlands experience but I found that this games adds next to nothing in terms of gameplay. This can also be seen in the dungeons & dragons like narration, setting and character building. The Overworld area is a clever innovation in this game as it is inspired by table top games. The gameplay attempts to take advantage of the fantasy setting by adding spells and magical weapons into the looter shooter design that the franchise has created but it doesn't really add anything to the gameplay. Tiny Tina's Wonderlands has a fantastic story with good humor that is a massive improvement from Borderlands 3.
